JAMMU/RAJOURI : Mandatory Refresher Training Held in Poonch to Strengthen Digital Immunization System.

JAMMU/RAJOURI/ DAINIK NEWS UDAAN The Department of Family Welfare, MCH & Immunization, Poonch, on Monday organized a mandatory refresher training programme at the Dak Bungalow, Poonch, to strengthen the district's digital immunization system and improve the accuracy of health data reporting.
The training was conducted under the overall supervision of Director, Family Welfare, MCH & Immunization, Jammu & Kashmir, Dr. Afsana Bano, and the direct supervision of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Poonch, Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan.
The programme was organized by Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ruby Naaz Bhatti and District Immunization Officer Dr. Zohera Parveen.
A total of 189 health officials participated in the training, including the Chief Medical Officer, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, District Immunization Officer, Block Medical Officer Mandi, and vaccinators from the Mandi, Mendhar and Surankote blocks.
The refresher session focused on enhancing the efficiency of the digital immunization ecosystem, with special emphasis on accelerating ABHA ID generation and linking to ensure faster and more accurate beneficiary verification. Participants were also trained to ensure immediate Haemoglobin (Hb) data entry on the U-WIN portal, reducing reporting delays and strengthening patient health records.
Addressing the participants, CMO Poonch Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan directed all doctors and vaccinators to ensure that HMIS and U-WIN data figures match completely, highlighting the importance of accurate and consistent reporting.
He further instructed that no vaccination session should be conducted with zero beneficiaries, emphasizing that every planned session must deliver actual immunization services on the ground.
The training concluded with a call for coordinated efforts to bridge operational gaps at the field level and ensure timely, reliable and accurate national health reporting from District Poonch.
