JAMMU/RAJOURI/ : Quiz on Freedom Fighters Marks Independence Day Celebrations at SG Govt. Degree College Doongi.

As part of the forthcoming Independence Day celebrations, the NSS Unit of S.G. Government Degree College Doongi organized a quiz competition on the Freedom Fighters of India to promote patriotic values and enhance students' understanding of the nation's struggle for independence.
The event was coordinated by NSS Coordinator Prof. Kajal Samyal with the active support and participation of the college faculty. Three teams—Team A, Team B, and Team C—participated in the competition and displayed impressive knowledge about the lives, contributions, and sacrifices of India's great freedom fighters.
After an engaging and closely contested contest, Team B emerged as the winner, securing the first prize, while Team A claimed the second position. The efforts and enthusiasm of all participating students were appreciated by the faculty members.
The programme was successfully conducted with the support of Dr. Pratima, Dr. Mukhtar, Dr. Ikram, Dr. Roman, Dr. Shoket, Mr. Shafit, and Mr. B. Satiah, whose cooperation played a key role in the smooth organization of the event.
The quiz competition not only strengthened students' knowledge of India's freedom movement but also encouraged patriotism, teamwork, healthy competition, and respect for the sacrifices made by the nation's freedom fighters. The event added educational significance to the college's Independence Day celebrations.
